Our story
A bit about us
We are a family run business based in Queniborough and are extremely proud of the quality of our food and the service we deliver. We are a friendly team, whether in person or on the phone and we have an excellent group of drivers who always go the extra mile to support our customers.
Our service is also about customers retaining their independence at home and ensuring choice, convenience and value for money.
We provide a daily hot food service to our customers and offer an additional mealtime sandwich pack if you wish to have sufficient food for the whole day. Hot food is delivered six days a week (Monday to Saturday) on a four weekly menu cycle. This ensures that you have a variety of meals over the month. If you require a meal for Sunday, we will deliver a frozen meal for you to heat up at home.
Our drivers deliver a lunchtime hot food run (12:00 – 2:30) and an early evening run (4:00 – 6:30). Your food may be delivered at lunchtime or evening depending on whereabouts you live.
We also supply frozen food on a weekly basis if you prefer to heat it up at home at a time that is convenient for you.
There is no contract, simply order when you need us. We are happy to provide hot meals for one or two days per week or the full six days a week. Being local we try to be flexible and adapt to your needs and changing circumstances.

Meals for Groups
The majority of our meals comply with the national guidelines recommended by the National Association of Care Caterers. This means that no preservatives, artificial additives or salt are added to the meals.
Lunch Clubs – We currently provide hot meals for several local lunch clubs. We will deliver direct to your venue whether you meet weekly or monthly. We can also deliver frozen meals to your venue if you have the facilities to heat food on site.
Day Centres – If you run a day centre, we can supply you with hot or frozen meals directly to your centre. This can help to ease bulk catering needs. We also have a range of pureed food if any clients have specific dietary requirements.
Care Homes – We can respond to emergency situations, cover for holiday periods or general staff shortages. Our meals will offer a wider choice of menu options and cater for specific diets that that might normally be difficult to meet.

Ordering and Delivery
Hot food – can be ordered via telephone on 0116 2600741 or via email to hello@kindsfood.co.uk. Our hot food orders comprise of a main meal and a dessert.
Please let us know if you wish to include a sandwich pack to your order. We are happy to discuss your requirements and whether we are able to deliver to your area with the hot meal service.
Frozen food – is ordered and paid for online, you can get started on your order here. There is a small delivery charge for our frozen food service. We will then contact you to arrange your delivery day. The same range of food is available whether you use our hot or frozen service. This includes main meals and desserts.
We deliver frozen meals to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
